Photographic artwork by Cindy Treger. Photographed near Lake Meade, East Berlin, PA. This male ruby-throated hummingbird, Archilochus colubris, was keeping a close eye on the sugar water feeder that he claimed as his own. There were other hummers in the area so he was ready to take chase.
I authored and included many of my hummingbird photos in a book titled "Ruby-throated Hummingbird Facts and Photos." It has many hummingbird facts that are sure to fascinate you. It is available through Amazon.
